The play is about corporate intervention into Indian agriculture. It has portrayed the failure of Green revolution in India except the fact that Green revolution was responsible for the increase of food production. The increase in production of food did not serve the people living below poverty line. Starvation and malnourishment are still there in the lives of the people marginalized socially and economically. The play has also addressed the severe damage caused by the Green revolution. The focal point of the play is that the proposed “Second Green Revolution” in agriculture is a corporate agenda which is based on their own logic of profit.
